Every Emerald Experience has been crafted to give you the adventure of a lifetime.

 

You will be hosted by Rehka Sharma and Vivek Sharma, the world-renowned tiger expert and naturalist, a former BBC expert guide and author of the book “Ambush”.

 

We are happy to work with you to accommodate your specific requirements and tailor your trip accordingly. Many of our visitors are Private Groups. A minimum of 6 adults is required for a Private Group. We also welcome enquiries from people travelling as individuals or couples, with less than 6 people.

Jungle Plan

4 Days | 3 Nights

The Jungle Plan is designed to give you maximum opportunity to see tigers and other wildlife in Bandhavgarh’s National Park, plus a glimpse of local village life and a visit to Tala’s historical sites of Sheshshaiya and the monks caves.

Emerald Safari Package

7 Days | 6 Nights

The all-inclusive Emerald safari package includes all meals, morning and evening tea/coffees/snacks, up to Six jungle safaris in exclusive, open 4x4 Safari Jeeps, Retreat nature tours, services of our resident naturalist, plus all National Park and forest guide fees.

WHAT TO WEAR

The rule of thumb for India is loose, comfortable, modest, layers of clothing. Emerald Tiger Retreat is very casual and informal.

It is warm to cool in winter and warm to hot in summer:

  • Winter: October-March (12-20C)

  • Summer: April-June (30-45C)

Recommended - Long shorts, cargo pants or trousers, leggings under long pants; T-shirts, long sleeve tops or shirts preferably in khaki, olive green or subdued colours; light fleece/jacket and warm hat for early mornings, nights or cooler days; cotton scarves, shade hats, walking shoes, sturdy sandals.

Not recommended – singlet tops, short shorts, tight clothing.
